    Vegetarian Chap Chye

    Having so much meat on some days can really make me puke! As I'm not craving for any western salads, I've opted for this dish.

    Since I have all the necessary ingredients @ home - I decided to serve this dish with sambal belachan and kalimansi juice.

    I've added taucheo (but not the local taucheo - I prefers the Japanese Botak boy brand, which is used for miso soup), black pig ear's fungus, tau kee, tang hoon, shiitake mushrooms and cabbage. This dish can be added to yr favourite teochew moi (porridge) as well!
